HABITAT FOR HUNMANITY-New!
South Atlantic Conference (SAC) and Georgia Cumberland Conference (GCC) sponsors a Habitat for Humanity Project 2008 with West End SDA Church being a coordinating church. The project dates are Sundays Sept. 21st, 28th; Oct. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; and Nov. 2nd. We need 20 people for EACH date from ages 16 and up to commit to an 8 hour day from 8 am to 4 pm!!!! FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED!!! If you have tools please bring them!! No experience necessary!!! Just a commitment to help!! HEALTH MINISTRY Reminder!
The Health Ministry invites you to join us for a "Lifestyle & Health Conditioning Program". This 3-day outpatient seminar will begin Friday, October 10, 2008 at 8:00 AM and end Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 4:30 PM. There will be a small fee to cover the meals. Please adjust your schedules for an exciting and intensive 3-day program which is designed to educate you on the causes, management and reversal of common chronic health problems. We will discuss the role of medications and how they work in controlling symptoms and steps to getting off them if possible. Cooking demonstrations are included.
